The shy banana

Feels mighty chagrined

When you intimate

To peel his skin

He’s so very timid

This poor little fellow

Why just look at him

He’s blushing bright yellow

His diffidence caused him

To hide in the bunch

But now he’s alone and

Packed away for lunch

Don’t be such a coward
