IONESCO RHINOCEROS

Ionesco Rhinoceros

Upon appraisal

Dirty as bellows

Bathes in his navel

Clean as a whisper

Drinks herbal tea

Strained from a tear drop

Of a widowed bee.

Dreams of a bicycle

He longs to marry

But whose heart was stolen

And lives in an aerie.

Hums a cinnamon tune

On a short sleeve cake.

About being invisible

And also opaque.

Picking teeth with the truth

And swallowing lie

Ionesco Rhinoceros

Melts into the sky
